LOS ANGELES Arts District
Mirus Gallery opened up a project space in a 11,000 sq ft warehouse in the Arts District of Los Angeles, California. With only a year to transform the space, it kicked off with an inaugural group exhibition both celebrating 10 years and what is to come. Co-Curated by owner, Paul Hemming, and directors Hall Helms and Art Poesia, the “Sneak Preview” of the new space featured over 50 artists including Ron English, Camille Rose Garcia, Alex Yanes, Augustine Kofie. The weekend of events included live painting by the Furtherrr collective, a metaverse NFT gallery, and immersive art by MESPLE, and beats by Gaslamp Killer. The year of 2022 was only meant to be a taste of what is to come for Mirus LA.
