A retrospective consisting of more than 50 large scale artworks arranged in a deeply personal narrative at Mirus Gallery in a 20,000 sq ft pop-up space in Los Angeles Arts District. The Awakening is a body of work that tells of suffering, insight, and healing; Of falling apart and reassembling. Dissections of figures with luminous translucent shells. Anatomy is at the basis of NYCHOS’ works forming a gateway to a more elaborated understanding of life and death. The exhibit comprises a series of classic dissection paintings, 3D sculptures, original drawings, a selection of fine art prints, NFT and interactive animations. Constructed like a labyrinth, visitors are pulled into the deepest depths, the prisim, a dark immersive installation with augmented reality thrusting into the depths of the artists mind.
